CELPIP Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program

Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) exam is a test of English language that is meant to assess the abilities of an individual to use English in a real-life scenario. The frequent use of it is in immigration and professional use in Canada. The test evaluates four primary language skills, namely; Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. CELPIP is an entirely computer-based test comprising of all parts at a single sitting at an authorized test center. The test represents the actual life communication task, i.e., to comprehend the conversation, answer the email, and share the thoughts. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is one of the organizations that use CELPIP scores to assess English language competency in immigration applications.
